History in Writing
Since before I can remember, I have been writing. I started with short stories, dabbled in poetry, and even began writing longer pieces. In middle, but primarily high school, I worked on argumentative and persuasive essays, and worked into informative essays shortly after. However, I was always creatively writing in related classes, or outside of the classroom. As of 2024, I am editing my first, hopefully debut, novel “Angel Wings” for a Q4 or 2025 Q1 release. I am also working on my second novel, unrelated to the first, “Beacon Chasers” (name subject to change).
Professionally, I have written for both OurEnglish LLC and The Game Haus LLC. During my year contract with OurEnglish LLC, I wrote passages of roughly two hundred words with a set list of vocabulary, and put them into sentences with context for learners of English as a second language.
My time at The Game Haus LLC was spent by writing about the Boston Celtics, including news reports, opinion pieces on the game, and updates regarding players. I tried expanding to Liverpool FC as well but the time didn’t permit.
Outside of the Office
I tend to be more of a wildcard outside of writing. There are a few things, like hiking, fishing, playing video games, and watching television, that I enjoy doing on my own. However, I also enjoy socially drinking, hanging with my girlfriend and cat, and playing board games with friends.
I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, and am the owner of two frogs, Greg and Willow, and one cat, Loki. Inside, I play video games occasionally, my favorites being Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Counter Strike 2 (formerly CS:GO). I am also an avid TV watcher. My favorite shows include Futurama, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Bojack Horseman. One last huge interest of mine is music, which I talk about a lot. I listen to a lot of different artists, genres, and songs, which helped me develop my own unique taste in music.
Growing up in New Hampshire, the possibilities of spending time outdoors were unlimited. I was fortunate to spend a lot of times in outdoor sports such as soccer, baseball, and golf. As time went on, I became more of an independent sport fan and fished, hiked, and biked a lot more on my own. I began the 4000 footer challenge in NH but have yet to complete it (hopefully someday). Another activity I love to do is cliff jumping, although I have limited it from my list due to the danger and risk associated with it.
