I’ve been meaning to write this blog post for a couple of weeks now and only now have I found the time to get around to it. I love writing, and I hope that part is at least obvious for those who know me, and those reading blog posts. I love diving into deep research articles and trying to report factual information, but it’s a lot. It’s demanding and time-consuming (of which I have little these days). While I appreciate the support I receive on these types of posts (see: More or Less: The Major Problem Purdue University Faces or Dysfunctional Tools: Inside the Mind of a Case Manager), it’s not worth the time to research, interview, and compose. As I begin to come into my own as a writer as well, I felt like choosing a general topic that I enjoy writing about.
A New Niche
So for now on, until I turn back on my word, this blog will specifically pertain towards popular media (video games, television, and movies). I’ve attempted to patent my own video game reviewing system if you’ve been following or a little (Worth The Purch?). And while I was thinking about solely making this into a video game only blog, I couldn’t hold myself to those limitations. I watch far more TV and Movies than I play new video games, and I could only write about Wizard101 for so many posts.
For future blog posts, tell me about video games you’ve liked playing, or movies and tv shows you love to watch. I’ll do my best to add them to my list and get around to playing/watching them. If you aren’t a huge fan of video games, I apologize. However, it’s important to pick a niche and I think this is the best choice for me long-term. If you’re REALLY in disagreement over this choice, please let me know. All feedback is extremely important and I take every opinion into account. Thank you all for reading and I hope I can retain your readership!
